This page gives you a general summary of how we use your data at Basford Road Baptist Church.

What information do we collect?

Information given to us include contact details from our various events, information for our Church Directory and financial information.

Why do we need it?

We collect this information so that we can contact you about forthcoming events you may be interested in, contact parents/carers in emergency, to help us plan events, to determine photography/permissions, transact financial transactions and arrange rotas.  We also use it to provide pastoral care where/if necessary.

Data Protection

Under Data Protection legislation, the church Charity Trustees of Basford Road Baptist Church are the Data Controller and can be contacted by e-mailing enquiries@basfordroadbaptist.org.uk Data Protection legislation allows us to process the information collection as we regard it as being in the church's legitimate interest.

If the only information you have given us is an email address to join our mailing list or have subscribed to the list directly via the Subscribe page then only your email address, and no other details, are stored at mailchimp.com purely only for emailing you updates and news.  The email address is not stored anywhere else.  The email address list is only accessible to the mailing list moderator.  You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of an email.
